Fund Raising Campaign:

Dear Distinguished Bay Area Alums,

Trust all is well with you and yours.

It was a delight to meet many of you at this year's very successful annual IIT Kgp Alumni Summer Picnic.  Our team is now enthused and committed to take the IIT KGP Alumni Bay Area Chapter to new heights!!

Some of our important steps are:

  1. New Website : We need to upgrade to an engaging  website that invites participation.
  2. Prepare a good local data base: there are approximately 2000 KGP alums in the Bay area but only 200 came to the picnic, so we have to make sure everybody is informed of all events in a timely manner.
  3. Explore benefits of incorporating, and pursue if warranted.
  4. We will particpate again this year in Diwali Dhamaka – last year our team did very well and this year we will strive to do much better.

All of the above needs generous financial support from you to make it happen in a planned way and we request that you chip in.  We need to raise atleast $5000.  Arjun Malhotra has graciously agreed to match up to $2500 for all contributions made by other alums until October 15, 2014We seek contributions at the $100 to $250 level – donor names with year of graduation will be listed in the website till end of 2015. Kindly contribute at your earliest convenience, so we can take advantage of Arjun's offer:
